Welcome to Tattooed Heart Animal Sanctuary

  Tattooed Heart Animal Sanctuary offers a permanent home to any companion bird who may have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or facing unforeseen circumstances such as a death of an owner, military deployment, or natural disasters. Our goal is to create and build naturalistic habitats for our resident birds, so that they may live out the remainder of their lives protected and loved. 

  Tattooed Heart Animal Sanctuary’s love for animals also provides a safe haven for many senior dogs and cats who face euthanasia due to age, special needs, serious medical conditions, and bad habits which make them unadoptable. We also foster for reputable rescues for animals who have a chance of finding their forever family.

  Although Tattooed Heart Animal Sanctuary was started as a Parrot Sanctuary, our love of animals has our family offering a home to many types of animals. We opened our ranch to animals misplaced by some of Texas’s Natural Disasters which include tortoises, donkeys, goats, pigs and even a variety of poultry.

  Tattooed Heart Animal Sanctuary’s main priority is the wellbeing and safety of each animal entrusted to our care, and we would like to give a special thanks to all the fabulous veterinarians we work with to ensure the wellbeing of these animals.
